QuickFreeze Joins the Innovative Ecosystem
FORT WAYNE, IN. — October 12, 2026 — QuickFreeze®, a Fort Wayne-based developer and
manufacturer of blast-freezing technology, announced today that it has been acquired by
Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc., a leader in industrial refrigeration engineering,
installation, and aftermarket services, from QuickFreeze co-founders Dan and Bob Tippmann.
QuickFreeze will continue to operate in Fort Wayne under its own name as a brand within the
Innovative family of brands. Co-founder and President Bob Tippmann will continue to lead the
company, and the QuickFreeze team will continue to deliver the expertise its customers have
trusted for more than two decades. Innovative will continue to support and develop the
QuickFreeze line of products and services, carrying on the company’s spirit of innovation and
excellence. As part of the Innovative ecosystem, QuickFreeze customers can expect the same
exceptional quality, performance, and innovation from the QuickFreeze line of products.
The acquisition gives QuickFreeze the backing of a larger organization with engineering,
construction, and service capabilities, along with additional manufacturing resources to support
future growth.
