QuickFreeze amplía la garantía del sistema de congelación en rack QF+ de 1 a 3 años
Fort Wayne, IN (10 de abril de 2019): QuickFreeze anunció hoy que todos los sistemas de congelación en rack QF+ vendidos a partir de esta fecha contarán con una garantía de tres años que cubre piezas y mano de obra. El aumento de un año a tres años es resultado de la mejora continua en innovación y confiabilidad.
QuickFreeze recibió el reto de un cliente de un puerto del sureste de reducir el tiempo de congelación de su producto avícola paletizado para exportación a 24 horas o menos en una cámara a -20 °F. El diseño original del sistema, que contaba con ventiladores accionados por correa, no era capaz de lograrlo. Además del mantenimiento frecuente de los cojinetes, el sistema simplemente no era lo suficientemente rápido.
Tippmann aceptó el reto. Al reemplazar los ventiladores por ventiladores de panel de accionamiento directo que no requieren mantenimiento, el cliente logró cumplir con la expectativa de 24 horas. Pero no se detuvieron ahí. Dan Tippmann comenzó a trabajar con el equipo de operaciones para transformar su proceso de congelación por lotes en un sistema de congelación continua que permitió a PRW alcanzar un tiempo total de ciclo de 16 horas.
How was a 16 hour turn time achieved? According to Dan Tippmann, it was very clear that in order to first reach a turn time of 24 hours or less, the customer needed to move more air through the product. This drove QuickFreeze to replace the fan motor and also sparked an idea to create what is now known as the Patented QuickFreeze T2 Spacer™ with single-axis airflow. The combination of improvements in operations, spacers and fans allowed QuickFreeze’s customer to not only achieve the goal of a 24 hour turn time, but turned this operation into the fastest palletized freezing facility in the country.
